"Taking a moment for change
could be the difference between
walking away and saving a life."

As much as 2012 was a historic year for Lyme disease advocacy, 2013 is set to be one of the most amazing years for the Lyme disease community- ever! There is so much going on and more and more people getting on board every single day, we are bound to see change happen. Not in this lifetime, not in the next decade, now!

Letters for Lyme was started near the end of 2010 and now, over 2 1/2 years later is still going, although we recently have taken a longer break than usual due to health issues and scheduling difficulties (I have been dealing with treatment and focusing on other projects), but we are coming back full throttle with an all new letter-writing/email project that in an a change of style will remain ongoing as a semi-permanent project, this time with a much more focused campaign.

This campaign began as a project in conjunction with the Worldwide Lyme Disease Protest US which was spearheaded by Lisa Hilton along with many local volunteers. Events took place in some 20 different countries globally and many states in the US.

Letters for Lyme plans to stand beside our brothers and sisters all over the globe in the fight for more education, awareness, research, funding and better treatment by the medical establishment. We are here until victory is won for every single Lyme patient!

It's time those in power realized
that the whole world is watching!
